Our Allied Health Professionals

Rob Wallis

B App Sc (Phys) M.A.P.A.
Physiotherapist

Robert Wallis graduated as a physiotherapist in 1985 and currently has 38 years of clinical experience. His career reflects expertise in both headache/migraine treatment as well as concussion injuries.

Rob is a Watson Headache® Certified Practitioner with 15 years of experience in this specialised field. His professional interest in headache and migraine treatment began from his own personal 10-year struggle with migraine. After attending the Watson Headache® Institutes’ Foundation Course in 2008, Rob experienced an almost immediate recovery of his condition.  With this encouraging result, together with those of his patients, Rob’s interest in the headache realm grew. Further study in the area lead to a career focused solely on the management and treatment of headache and migraine disorders.

His professional interest with the neurological pathology of migraine patients revealed a significant correlation with concussion presentations. He is presently researching these correlations and has presented findings at an International Symposium. Rob’s passion in headache treatment and history in sports physiotherapy, has led him to expand his services, providing treatment, education and prevention strategies for people impacted by concussion.

Rob, together with business partner Andris Simsons, offer consultations at Kogarah, Gymea, Moore Park and the city CBD.  Appointments can be made online at https://www.headacheandmigraine.sydney or 1300 694 323 (1300myheadache).
